The Armenian State Revenue Committee has a new Development Strategy until 2024

The Government of Armenia adopted the Strategic Plan for the Development of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia and the Improvement of Administration for 2020-2024 (SRC Strategy) at its meeting on December 12, 2019.

New Director General at the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia

The Government of Republic of Slovenia appointed Peter Jenko as Director General of the Financial Administration on 27 November 2019. 

New Acting Director in the State Tax Service of the Republic of Moldova

Ludmila Botnari has been appointed as Acting Director of the State Tax Service of the Republic of Moldova starting with November 19, 2019, following the appointment of Mr. Serghei PUȘCUȚA as First Deuty Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova and Minister of Finance.

International conference on IT and HR aspects of digital transformation

„Common Challenges, Smart Solutions – Digital Transformation of Tax and Customs Administrations from IT and HR Perspective” was the title of the international academic conference jointly organised by the National Tax and Customs Administration of Hungary and the National University of Public Service. IOTA participated at the two-day event which was held in Budapest, on 20-21 November 2019. 

Jim Harra became the new Chief Executive at Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs

Jim Harra has been confirmed as permanent Chief Executive and First Permanent Secretary with effect from 29 October 2019. Jim was formerly the Second Permanent Secretary and has been covering the role of Chief Executive and Permanent Secretary on an interim basis, following Jon Thompson’s move to the Financial Reporting Council.
