IOTA's current Presidency (2024-2025) is fulfilled by the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and by Mr Orkhan Nazarli, Head of the State Tax Service of Azerbaijan.
IOTA President
The President is the Head of Tax Administration of the country that fulfills the chairmanship of IOTA for one year, also presiding over the Executive Council and hosting the next General Assembly. The President holds office from the conclusion of the General Assembly when he/she is appointed until the conclusion of the next General Assembly. The President’s main tasks are to preside over the General Assembly, to call and preside over the meetings of the Executive Council, and to represent the Organisation.
