Application of Indirect Audit Methods in Relation to High Wealth Individuals (joint IOTA-European Commission event)

The workshop will focus on exploring different indirect audit methods and examining how these methods are being practically used by tax administrations to determine and verify actual tax liability of High Wealth Individuals (HWI). 

This workshop would also contribute to coordination of activities between the Fiscalis 2020 Programme and IOTA work programme offering opportunities for cross-participation into workshops and organisation of joint events.

The participants will share experiences in using indirect audit methods to HWIs, present difficulties they face in their implementation and how those difficulties have been overcomey identifying successful approaches and innovative steps that participating tax administrations have taken to apply indirect methods in relation to HWIs.
