First Regional Meeting of the Inclusive Framework on BEPS for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Countries
So far,
91 countries
and jurisdictions have joined
the Inclusive Framework on BEPS launched in Kyoto in July 2016
. This is the first regional meeting of the Inclusive Framework on BEPS for Eastern Europe and Central Asia. These regional meetings are considered to be a key element of the Inclusive Framework, enabling all countries and jurisdictions to discuss the implementation of the BEPS package on a regional basis, and feed their perspectives into the global dialogue. The meeting will bring together
officials
from Finance Ministries and Tax Administrations in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, as well as representatives from the OECD and from regional and international organisations providing an
update on recent developments
in the inclusive framework including its governance and membership, and on the implementation of the BEPS Package including its minimum standards as well as the work on toolkits to address developing countries’ needs. The event will prepare for participation in the upcoming meetings of the inclusive framework including the
Committee on Fiscal Affairs
meeting of 25-27 January 2017, as well as the various Working Party meetings. Also, it will offer an opportunity for countries
to input their views and perspectives
into the Working Party and inclusive framework discussions Specific sessions of the meeting will also be opened to external stakeholders from
business community

and
academia
.
