„Innovation in the Field of Collection and Recovery of Taxes and Fines” (joint IOTA - EU Fiscalis 2020 Programme - OECD FTA workshop )

This workshop aims to explore how innovative techniques based on behavioural economics, predictive analysis and automation can enhance debt collection and recovery processes.

More specifically, it will allow participants to: •   evaluate how innovative techniques can assist the collection and recovery process; •   exchange on good practices on how the management of a future-proof  collection and recovery process should be shaped; •   link with and learn from similar initiatives implemented by different international actors.

This workshop will allow participants to share their experience within their administration and to discuss ways to continue this exchange on both operational and management level. Belgian Federal Service Finance will draft a report of the event which will be shared with the participants.
