New Communication Specialist on board

From 17 June 2019, Dorottya Vannai joined the IOTA Secretariat as Communication and Publication Specialist.

She started her career in the private sector in the PR-marketing field then switched to work as a journalist. From 2010 she continued her career in the Hungarian state administration working as a press officer and later as a communication adviser. During this period, she also spent three years in the EU administration as a national expert, joining the Communication Service of the European Union Intellectual Property Office.

Dorottya is highly experienced in working in an international environment, dealing with the separate needs of partners coming from different countries. She is enthusiastic about managing networks and working groups, developing joint communication campaigns and strategies. She has a strong experience in organising, participating and moderating events and dealing with the media.

She is excited to learn about IOTA and to become a member of the Secretariat team, hoping that the ideas and concepts she will introduce will contribute to the success of the organisation.
