New IOTA Paper by Denmark: Megatrends and Emerging Risks in Tax Administrations

In this new IOTA Paper, Torsten Cumberland Jacobsen from the Danish Tax Agency discusses the importance of strategic foresight and risk management for tax administrations.

He compares them to supertankers that must anticipate long-term risks to avoid crises. The OECD's Enterprise Risk Management Community of Interest (COI) has expanded its annual short-term risk survey to include medium and long-term risks, involving experienced tax administrations from several countries. The goal is to identify and address megatrends and emerging risks and opportunities, helping administrations to plan effectively. Feel free to explore the topic further by clicking on this link.

Torsten Cumberland Jacobsen is a Divisional Manager and Chief Process Officer at the Danish Tax Agency in Denmark. He is also the Chair of the Enterprise Risk Management Community of Interest OECD Forum for Tax Administration.
