NTO Study Visit to the IOTA Secretariat

From November 18 to 22, 2024, IOTA had the privilege of welcoming a delegation from the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations (CIAT) and the Exchange and Reflection Forum for Tax Administration Leaders CREDAF, at the IOTA Secretariat as part of a knowledge exchange program among the secretariats of regional tax organisations that are members of the Network of Tax Organizations (NTO)

The invitees, Neila Jaén, Strategic Services Manager and Ana Larrotta Communication and Marketing Specialist from CIAT, and Ismaila Diallo Deputy Secretary General of CREDAF have joined us for a one-week study visit at the IOTA Secretariat in Budapest, Hungary.

Acting as a vibrant platform for peer exchange and collaboration, the NTO facilitates peer-to-peer learning among NTO member organisations through study visits. The agenda of a 5-day study visit included presentations with practical examples and interactive discussions to enhance the NTO delegates’ understanding of the IOTA Secretariat's operations, the Lifecycle and implementation of the annual Work Programme, preparation and delivery of hybrid and digital events, as well as Technical Enquiries and Technical Assistance services of IOTA. Delegates also learned about IOTA's communication activities and publications.

The study visit was hosted by IOTA's Work Programme Manager, Eugenijus Soldatkovas, alongside Executive Secretary Alix Perrignon de Troyes and Strategy and Institutional Development Manager Roman Bichevoy. Several other members of the Secretariat and senior officials also contributed to the success of this visit. IOTA is dedicated to continuing its efforts in providing platforms for knowledge sharing, connection, and collaboration with its international partner organisations, NTO, CIAT, and CREDAF.
