Welcome to the New IOTA Web Portal!

This new web portal provides a more immersive user experience, improved functionality, and allows all IOTA members to access our content more easily. The underlying "engine" supporting the website is more reliable and uses up-to-date technology. Since the first launch of the IOTA website in 1996, we have been continuously working to improve our digital presence by enhancing the user experience, adding new features, and increasing interactivity. However, the last major development was almost a decade ago and this new portal provides a huge step forward in functionality and useability.  

This new functionality includes various ways to interact with us in a more advanced digital environment. It boasts several features like configurable widgets to display personalised and dynamic content, collaboration on shared content with an integrated Microsoft 365 service (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and web content. It offers easy export of the content, including batch download of Technical Enquiries, Country Profiles, and more. Additionally, website users can send messages and chat with one another while enjoying an advanced search engine experience. It is also designed to make the IOTA Secretariat more independent by using a workflow editor, reducing our dependence on web developers. 

As before, we will continue to provide our members with the latest information about all our technical and administrative events, news items, updates on the organisation, and different types of publications via the web portal. Functionality for offering technical assistance and submitting technical inquiries is enhanced and will offer the ability to search effectively through previously submitted enquiries for the first time. 

We all understand that finding your way on a brand-new site and using it confidentially can sometimes be a challenging experience. However, we trust that you will also find our new interface more user-friendly, modern, and intuitive. For the next few months, one of our main objectives at IOTA is to ensure that our members are able to navigate around the new portal and make the most of its new functionality.
