Azerbaijan Receives the IOTA Flag
We are thrilled to be able to share that the IOTA member country Azerbaijan took over the IOTA Presidency from Hungary at the 28th IOTA General Assembly in Budapest.
The State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been appointed as the next Presidency of IOTA for the period 2024/2025. Orkhan Nazarli, Head of the State Tax Service of Azerbaijan, will be serving as the new President of IOTA for the one-year term.
Ferenc Vágujhelyi, Commissioner of the National Tax and Customs Administration of Hungary, and outgoing President of IOTA handed over the IOTA flag to Orkhan Nazarli at the end of today's Administrative Session. Traditionally, the flag is handed over to the newly appointed Presidency during the General Assembly.
