Cloud Computing - A New Challenge for Tax Administrations

The IOTA workshop on Cloud Computing - A New Challenge for Tax Administrations took place in Budapest, Hungary, on 20-22 May 2015

Attended by 41 delegates from 24 IOTA member countries, the workshop considered how IOTA tax administrations have been addressing the impact of cloud computing on tax auditing activities, sharing experiences on identified risks but also, sharing how tax administrations are exploring the opportunities presented to improve taxpayer compliance by taking advantage of cloud technology. A representative was also present from DG TAXUD to give the latest developments of Cloud Computing and Tax Administrations from the EU perspective.
