How important are random samples for tax administrations?

The Project Leader of the IOTA GPG Project Roel Niessen and his colleague Emma Gottesman contributed to a very interesting paper about random samples. The publication describes the relevance and importance of random samples for tax administrations in general. It also describes the way random samples are specifically used in the Netherlands Tax & Customs Administration.
