IOTA Case Study Workshop on Tackling VAT Fraud: Best Practice

This case study workshop was held in Budapest Hungary, 4th - 6th February 2015, it was attended by 46 delegates from 25 IOTA member countries.

The workshop consisted of 7 case study presentations of recent VAT schemes that allowed the delegates to discuss share their views and opinions on possible ways of combating these frauds. The cases covered different sectors and different fraud types such as Acquisition Fraud, Cross-border VAT Fraud, and Tax Evasion in the Flower Market and VAT Fraud in Engine Oil Sector.
