New Acting Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine has been Appointed
Acting Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Mr Yurii Koniushenko.
Yurii Koniushenko was appointed First Deputy Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine and designated Acting Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine as of 29 September 2026.
He has extensive professional experience in public finance, tax policy and tax administration. A significant part of his career has been associated with the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. From 2010 to 2015, Yurii Koniushenko worked in structural units of the Ministry of Finance responsible for tax administration and tax policy. During this period, he held several positions, including Chief Economist-Financier in the Unit for Administration of Tax and Other Payments, Deputy Head of the Income and Property Taxation Unit, and Head of the Personal Income Tax Unit.
In 2020, he returned to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine as Director of the Department for Coordination and Monitoring Support. As Acting Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, his key priorities include ensuring the stable and efficient operation of the Service, meeting state budget revenue targets, further improving and simplifying tax administration, strengthening cooperation with the business community, and maintaining an open dialogue with taxpayers.
