Appointment of the New Director General of the State Tax Service of the Republic of Moldova

The newly appointed Director General of the State Tax Service began her professional career at the National Office of Social Insurance of the Republic of Moldova in 1997, where she acquired extensive experience in public administration.

Since 2006, she has held several senior management positions, including Deputy Director and Director General.

Her extensive knowledge and professional experience in the fields of social insurance and taxation, together with her managerial experience in public administration and strong leadership skills, provide a solid foundation for carrying out her responsibilities as General Director of the State Tax Service.

In her new position, Mrs Țîbîrnă is committed to continuing and further strengthening the partnerships established by the State Tax Service. She will promote the exchange of experience and good practices, address common challenges, and support the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at strengthening institutional capacity, enhancing transparency, improving taxpayer services, and contributing to the sustainable development and modernisation of tax administration.
