State Revenue Committee of Armenia welcomes a new Chairman

On June 5, 2020, Mr. Edvard HOVHANNISYAN was assigned to the position of the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, thereby superseding Mr. Davit ANANYAN.

As a new Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic Armenia, Mr. HOVHANNISYAN envisaged to continue effective management of the activities of Armenian tax and customs administrations. The Chairman of the SRC of RA is accountable to the Government of Armenia. Upon introduction of Mr. HOVHANNISYAN, the Vice Prime Minister wished him success in further modernization of tax and customs services.

Prior to his assignment, Mr. HOVHANNISYAN worked as a Deputy Chairman in charge of the legal issues and combating the tax crimes. He accrued long record of accomplishments in the area of tax investigations.
