The presentations focused on outlining the structure and functions of the AEAT, detailing the implementation strategy for cooperative compliance, and explaining the methodology for risk analysis of Large Taxpayers.
On the second day, the group moved to the Large Taxpayers Office, where they were received by the Head of the LTO and the Head of the Tax and Customs Control Area. During the first session, the experts on cooperative compliace at the LTO elaborated on the activities of the Large Business Forum, the Code of Conduct, and transparency reports. The day concluded with a visit to REPSOL's facilities, where they were received by the Head of Tax Affairs and his team with the purpose to gain an on-site perspective from a company participating in the Forum.
The International Relations Unit, represented by the Deputy Head, Mr. Raúl Martinez, and the PCP, Ms. Ana Ortega, provided support and accompanied the delegation throughout the entire visit.
The visit took place in a very professional, transparent and constructive way, thanks to the quality of the presentations, the expertise of the participants and the valuable discussions.
