A new Technical Taxation Expert started to work in the IOTA Secretariat today. Mr Wolfgang Büttner, a seconded expert from the German Ministry of Finance has considerable international experience and he has organised and conducted several training programs.
Wolfgang has spent 8 years working for the OECD Centre for Tax Policy and Administration and 3 years working for DG TAXUD of the European Commission. His latest position in Germany was Deputy Head of Division and lecturer at the Federal Tax Academy of the German Ministry of Finance. Beforehand he held several positions in the International Tax Department of the Ministry. Wolfgang is a lecturer in corporate income tax and international tax law. He has been organising and leading workshops, seminars and trainings in particular on transfer pricing, double tax conventions, BEPS and Exchange of Information.
