IOTA Secretariat organised a TADAT Training on 8-10 May 2018 in Budapest for IOTA members in cooperation with the TADAT Secretariat. This is the third training held for IOTA members where participants can also gain “TADAT trained” or “Trained TADAT assessors” certificate.

TADAT helps make tax administrations around the world more efficient and fair. It provides an independent, standardised, evidence-based, quality-assured, all-round assessment of the performance of a tax administration system. By organising this training event IOTA is enabling its members to obtain training in the TADAT tool so that they can conduct their own organisation’s performance assessment following this internationally recognised methodology.

23 participants from 13 IOTA member countries were trained in this interactive workshop which combined face-to-face lectures with online material. At the end of the workshop participants had to pass an online exam for gaining certificate on “TADAT trained”, (who will be able to participate in their country’s own benchmarking exercise or “Trained TADAT assessors” (who will be certified to conduct TADAT assessments in any country).

IOTA members can read more information about the training here.
