IOTA Webinar on HR Data Analytics

On May 28, 2025, IOTA had the pleasure of organising another engaging webinar on HR Data Analytics. The online event welcomed over 80 HR professionals from 29 IOTA member tax administrations and was broadcast live via MS Teams.
Tax administrations can collect and utilise a wide variety of HR data from internal and external sources. With advancements in cutting-edge technologies, there is growing potential for organizations to apply advanced HRM analytical tools and techniques more systematically and scientifically.
This event featured presentations from IOTA members in Croatia, Finland, and the United Kingdom, focusing on advanced HR data analytics, predictive tools, and other techniques for better decision-making. Tax administrations presented their proactive, data-driven approaches to prepare for meeting key emerging challenges in a rapidly changing environment. Webinar participants also explored examples from several member tax administrations regarding the utilisation of HR data in their decision-making. During the plenary sessions, the following countries reflected on the topic:
- Finland: “Leveraging HR Analytics for Enhanced Employee Experience and Organizational Culture in a Rapidly Changing Environment in the Finnish Tax Administration” presented by Anna Hellsten;
- Croatia: “Human Resource Management through Performance Data Analysis” presented by Marija Loncar;
- United Kingdom: “Being Future-Ready: the Challenge of Changing to New Ways of Working” presented by Annabelle Simmons Juritz.
The plenaries concluded with a Q&A session, featuring numerous questions from the audience. All materials, presentations, and the video recording are now available online on the event's webpage. The Webinar was facilitated by IOTA International Taxation Expert Oksana Stepanenko, with support from her colleague Erika Szabó.
